Wide Yaw for Turn and Sideslip

The PS-6TL-350 carries a wide yaw envelope, so a turn or sideslip reads as real heading.

Helicopter sideslip, a lane-change or a hard turn reaches the trainee as real rotation.

A narrow-yaw platform squeezes that heading change into tilt, a false cue the trainee feels and the training center has to tune out later.

Optional Modular Delivery for Tight Access

Ordered as modules, the base, frame and actuators arrive separately, each light enough for a small crew to bolt on site.

A tight corridor or compact room takes delivery, then a hoist lifts it into place.

A single-piece rig instead needs a crane path and building work, prep that adds days to the schedule.

Brakes Hold on Power Loss

Electromagnetic brakes clamp the legs the instant an E-STOP fires or mains power drops.

The cockpit holds position through every stop, and acceptance testing clears on standard hardware.

Without that holding brake a platform settles to its lowest point when power drops, forcing the site to add a separate locking device.

Hardware

  • PS-6TL-350
    A six-leg ball-screw hexapod (gross moving load up to 350 kg) - all six axes with precise travel for research and training. The factory top frame takes 50 kg of that figure, leaving the 300 kg payload; removing it and bolting the cockpit floor directly to the mounting points frees the full 350 kg - validated during scoping.
  • PS-SB230 Cabinet
    Power and control - AC/DC protection and controller, fed from a dedicated 230V single-phase industrial CEE socket. For a 120V supply, contact Technical Support.
  • PS-SBR Remote + E-Stop
    The PS-SBR remote (E-STOP, KNEEL, POWER LOCK) and PS-SBEC stop button - the hardware safety chain to park or stop motion. The keyed POWER LOCK keeps arming with the operator; the 5 m PS-SBEC lead adds a stop within reach.
  • Electromagnetic Brakes
    One safety brake per actuator - engages on power loss and holds the load. A fail-safe, standard here.
  • Cable Set
    Mains, USB to the host PC, and the PS-SBR remote and EMCY safety leads - wired together as delivered.
  • Packing & Handling
    Ships factory-assembled and calibrated in a forklift-ready crate as standard; where access is tight, the platform can be prepared as modules that pass through a standard doorway and are connected on site.

How It Works.

TL · Linear Hexapod

Six electric ball-screw actuators stand in a Stewart hexapod between the base feet and the upper frame. In each leg a servo motor drives a recirculating ball screw through a timing belt, turning that rotation into smooth linear travel. The actuators sit on upper and lower cardan joints, and coordinated extension and retraction of the six legs forms all six axes, including a wide yaw envelope for turn-and-sideslip heading.

That geometry carries the load through all six axes within a compact footprint. The platform can ship in modules for through-doorway assembly, and each actuator's motor encoder reports its extension, so it calibrates on start-up and repeats every run the same way.

On E-STOP or power loss, electromagnetic brakes engage and hold the platform rather than letting it coast down, giving the operator a controlled stop.

Yes, on three levels. The catalog spans payload classes from compact cockpits to full-cabin builds, so most projects start with the right standard model and a payload reserve. For oversized cockpits and cabins, the motion envelope and dynamics are then matched to the load - in software on every platform, and with adjustable hardware travel limiters on selected higher-payload models. Where the catalog does not fit, a bespoke build scopes payload, envelope and travel. Share the intended payload, its mass and the motion requirements and the team will confirm the right configuration.

Yes. The number in the model name is the gross moving load, and the payload figure applies with the factory top frame fitted. An integrator can instead bolt the cockpit or cabin floor directly to the mounting points, reproducing the frame positions exactly per the Product Manual - the full gross moving load then becomes available. The team validates the setup during scoping.

Delivery includes installation guidance that specifies the mounting points and the power and electrical setup per model; site preparation, floor requirements and platform anchoring are the integrator's responsibility. Every platform ships factory-tested and arrives ready for integration into the simulator build.

Professional Series platforms are built to order, typically in 6-10 weeks from payment, with the exact schedule confirmed at quote. With the optional Hardware Imitator M10, software integration runs in parallel with production, so go-live is not gated by delivery. Every Professional Series platform ships with a 24-month warranty, extendable by agreement. Spare-parts manufacturing and diagnostic support continue for the operational life of the platform, with SLA options for fleet and training deployments.
