Full 6DOF on Single-Phase Power

Six axes run from one 230V single-phase industrial CEE socket through the PS-SB230 cabinet - full 6DOF, no three-phase upgrade.

A VR center or small lab installs the platform on a single-phase industrial socket, skips the three-phase fit-out, and starts sessions sooner.

Most 6DOF rigs above this class want three-phase power, so permits, a contractor and downtime come first.

Crisp, Agile Motion at the Entry Tier

A light upper frame gives this model the highest angular agility in the 6TM range, no loss of travel.

Aerobatic flight, vehicle slides and sharp yaw hit the trainee at the very start of each motion cue, keeping simulator sickness low.

On a heavier platform the same cue builds more gradually, so the trainee senses it coming and the onset softens.

Independent Yaw and Side-Slip Axes

Genuine surge, sway and yaw axes stay present at the entry payload, not approximated by one rotating element standing in for three separate axes.

Helicopter side-slip and lane-change drills stay available at this tier, so a single platform serves both rotorcraft and ground-vehicle curricula.

Without an independent yaw axis, a 3DOF rig approximates the turn or omits it, so those drills carry less detail.

  • PS-6TM-150
    A low-profile six-actuator platform on worm-geared servos - all six axes, top yaw agility in the 6TM range. Self-locking, no brakes.
  • PS-SB230 Cabinet
    Power and control - AC/DC protection and controller, fed from a dedicated 230V single-phase industrial CEE socket. For a 120V supply, contact Technical Support.
  • Inverter Cabinets (FI123 + FI456)
    PS-SB230-FI123 and PS-SB230-FI456 - two rack cabinets that hold the motor inverters, chained from the PS-SB230 and wired to the platform. The power set ships as three rack cabinets in all.
  • PS-SBR Remote + E-Stop
    The PS-SBR remote (E-STOP, KNEEL, POWER LOCK) and PS-SBEC stop button - the hardware safety chain to park or stop motion. The keyed POWER LOCK keeps arming with the operator; the 5 m PS-SBEC lead adds a stop within reach.
  • Cable Set
    Mains, USB to the host PC, and the PS-SBR remote and EMCY safety leads - wired together as delivered.
  • Packing & Handling
    Ships factory-assembled and calibrated in a forklift-ready crate - the integrator unpacks and installs, with no on-site build.

How It Works.

TM · Low-Profile Hexapod

Six electric rotary actuators sit horizontally in a low-profile layout, each rotating a worm gearbox that swings a crank arm to lift its leg of the upper frame. The worm drive keeps this among the most compact platforms in the range - a large gear reduction in one small stage, quiet and self-holding, with just the slight play any gear pair carries. Coordinating the six legs forms all six axes without the height of a tall ball-screw hexapod.

The platform runs from a dedicated 230V single-phase industrial CEE socket through its PS-SB230 cabinet, so install needs no three-phase supply. On start-up it self-calibrates actuator positions, so every run begins from a known reference.

E-STOP brings the platform to a controlled stop, and on shutdown it lowers fully to its boarding position so the operator steps off at floor level.

Custom integration runs through the ForceSeat SDK with motion profiles set in ForceSeatPM; where a build calls for it, the engineering team handles any platform firmware changes.

Platforms run on the ForceSeat software stack: ForceSeatPM delivers out-of-the-box support for popular simulation titles, and the ForceSeatMI and ForceSeatDI SDKs expose a documented API for custom telemetry in C, C++, C# and Python, plus plugins for Unity and Unreal Engine.

Yes, on three levels. The catalog spans payload classes from compact cockpits to full-cabin builds, so most projects start with the right standard model and a payload reserve. For oversized cockpits and cabins, the motion envelope and dynamics are then matched to the load - in software on every platform, and with adjustable hardware travel limiters on selected higher-payload models. Where the catalog does not fit, a bespoke build scopes payload, envelope and travel. Share the intended payload, its mass and the motion requirements and the team will confirm the right configuration.

Delivery includes installation guidance that specifies the mounting points and the power and electrical setup per model; site preparation, floor requirements and platform anchoring are the integrator's responsibility. Every platform ships factory-tested and arrives ready for integration into the simulator build.

Professional Series platforms are built to order, typically in 6-10 weeks from payment, with the exact schedule confirmed at quote. With the optional Hardware Imitator M10, software integration runs in parallel with production, so go-live is not gated by delivery. The compact Qubic System line is often in stock and typically ships within 1-3 weeks.

Every Professional Series platform ships with a 24-month warranty, extendable by agreement. Spare-parts manufacturing and diagnostic support continue for the operational life of the platform, with SLA options for fleet and training deployments.
