Grows From 2DOF to 5DOF

A 2DOF set adds a pivot bar for simulated heave (2.5DOF), a second actuator pair for 3DOF, then QS-CH2 for 5DOF.

An integrator enters at the entry tier and scales the rig as budget allows, with original hardware kept in the chain.

A single-tier platform treats each upgrade as a replacement, writing off the first build before re-quoting.

Sub-8ms Response at the Entry Tier

In-house electric servo (PMSM) linear actuators and the M10 controller hold motion latency under 8 ms across the entry tier.

Cornering, curb and brake cues reach the cockpit before the visual scene settles, so the driver trusts it immediately.

At a lower price point motion tends to arrive after the eye has settled, feeling detached and fatiguing.

Bolts to a Standard Profile Rig

Universal brackets carry mounting holes every 40 mm, matching the grid of standard 40 mm T-slot aluminum profiles, so the supplied kit fits a typical sim-racing rig.

An existing cockpit accepts the actuator set straight away, letting the integrator commission in an afternoon, not a fabrication cycle.

Without that fit, platform-specific mounting forces a rig redesign, adding shop time and pushing the install date back - sending the rig profile dimensions before ordering lets the team confirm the bracket fit.

Hardware

  • QS-210 Actuators
    QS-L5 electric linear actuators - two for a 2DOF set, four for the full 3DOF build. PMSM and ball-screw, 60 mm stroke, vibration effects up to 100 Hz, low latency. The compact-class set.
  • QS-SB2 Power Cabinets
    Two under-rig cabinets, one per pair of actuators, linked over M-BUS into one 3DOF platform.
  • QS-MC6 Controller
    The M10 controller inside the QS-MC6 set, running the Qubic protocol - one USB connection brings the rig online. It turns telemetry into synchronized actuator commands, and one controller serves every DOF upgrade.
  • Motion-Lock
    A hardware stop switch - press it and motion cuts at once. With no brakes to hold the load, the platform settles to its lowest boarding position.
  • Universal Brackets & Adapters
    Universal brackets with mounting holes every 40 mm bolt the actuators onto typical 40 mm T-slot rigs (40x40, 40x80 and similar); flat-face adapters and stabilization plates complete the kit - a drop-in, not fabrication.

How It Works.

QS-210 · Linear Actuator

The QS-210 builds motion from in-house QS-L5 electric PMSM linear actuators, a servo motor driving each leg. The M10 controller turns ForceSeatPM telemetry into coordinated actuator extension under 8 ms. Two actuators under the cockpit tilt it in pitch and roll for a 2DOF set - with a pivot bar as the third support point - and four corner actuators add independent heave for 3DOF, so pitch and roll land as braking and cornering.

The platform runs on single-phase mains through a QS-SB2 cabinet, so a training center installs it on an ordinary wall socket with no three-phase supply. Each actuator reports its extension to the controller, so a saved profile replays the same way every run with no manual calibration. From the 2DOF base, a front-mounted pivot bar adds simulated heave for 2.5DOF, a second actuator pair reaches full 3DOF, and a QS-CH2 stage adds surge and yaw for 5DOF.

A Motion-Lock switch parks the platform, which settles to its lowest position for safe entry and exit.
