The Largest Motion Envelope in the Line

The S35 holds the biggest travel across all six axes, with far more vertical reach than the S25.

Curbs, runway thresholds, helicopter maneuvers and rally jump-and-land register at full amplitude, so one platform covers automotive, motorsport and aviation.

The trade-off on a platform short of heave is a cue cut off mid-event, so drivers learn to react to an incomplete motion.

Four-Cable Install, Brakes Hold on Lock

Three QS-SB2 cabinets and the interlink ship factory-wired inside the structure, paired with electromagnetic brakes on every leg.

The venue wires only power, ground, Motion-Lock and the controller; the legs hold under lock, so commissioning runs in hours.

External-cabinet hexapods push wiring on-site, where each connector adds a failure point that surfaces as downtime.

Triple Monitors Move With the Cockpit

A built-in mount carries three screens that travel with the cockpit across heave, surge, sway, pitch, roll and yaw.

The visual scene stays locked to the cockpit, holding visual and vestibular cues aligned, so a center runs longer sessions.

Fixed external stands keep the picture still while the cockpit moves, a mismatch that classically triggers simulator sickness.

Hardware

  • QS-S35 Platform
    A six-actuator Stewart-frame cockpit - the flagship, largest excursions Qubic builds. Floor anchoring at nine base points is required for operation.
  • Actuators
    Six commercial-grade linear actuators, factory-wired, driving all six axes with vibration cues across the 0-60 Hz range.
  • QS-SB2 Power Cabinets
    Three built-in cabinets, one per pair of actuators, shipped pre-wired over M-BUS. Factory wiring means no cabinet placement or interconnect work on site - the platform powers up as delivered.
  • QS-MC6 + Motion-Lock
    The motion controller set (M10 + Qubic protocol) plus the hardware Motion-Lock panel - one USB online.
  • Electromagnetic Brakes
    The only QS platform fitted with them - on lock or power loss the brakes engage and hold the platform in place, so it does not coast down.

The QS-BT1 Seat Belt Tensioner pulls on the racing harness in sync with the motion - braking, cornering and traction loss on track, climbs and G-loading in flight, all become physical. Fully compatible with the QS-S35.

How It Works.

QS-S35 · Motion Cockpit

The QS-S35 is a 6DOF Stewart hexapod, six commercial-grade electric actuators standing between the base and the upper frame. Coordinated extension and retraction of the six legs forms all six axes - heave, surge, sway, pitch, roll and yaw - so braking, lateral load and heading all register through the cockpit.

ForceSeatPM streams telemetry to the M10 controller over one link, and the M10 turns it into per-leg extension under 8 ms, driving three QS-SB2 cabinets built into the structure and factory-wired so the venue connects only four cables. It ships assembled as standard, and can be prepared in modules on request for tight access or upper-floor installs. The platform runs on 230V single-phase, and full-load operation calls for a dedicated room. Anchoring to the floor is required: the base carries nine anchor points, and the anchors themselves are matched to the floor on site, per the Product Manual.

A Motion-Lock switch parks the platform, and electromagnetic brakes hold the legs in place so the cockpit stays level for boarding.
