How to configure Forum8 UC-win/Road
Configure Forum8 UC-win/Road driving simulation to send telemetry to a motion platform.
1 Introduction
3D real-time virtual reality software UC-win/Road enables the creation of large scale 3D spaces for all sorts of projects by simple PC operations and with which you can give a variety of presentations in real-time. It can interact with various hardware devices, including motion platforms.

2 Requirements
Integration with UC-win/Road requires two additional components to be installed, activated and running in the system:
- DSUDPPlugin - plugin for UC-win/Road main application.
- DSMiddleWareApp - a standalone proxy application that allows ForceSeatPM to get data from UC-win/Road.
3 Configuration and usage
- If you have not already done so, install DSUDPPlugin and activate its license.
- In ForceSeatPM activate UC-win | Road profile.
- Start DSMiddleWareApp application and choose Support_Motion
and Support_MotionWashout in Hardware Support section.

- In DSMiddleWareApp review UDP configuration and then click Connect to
establish a connection with ForceSeatPM.

- Load a scenario in UC-win/Road application and go to DSUDPPlugin configuration (in Driving Sim section).
- Enable Use Motion option and connect to DSMiddleWareApp application
(you can also enable Auto Connect if you wish).

4 QS-DD-20 configuration
QS-DD-20 direct drive steering wheel works perfectly fine via Direct Input with Microsoft ForceFeedback API and does not require any additional plug-ins. In order to configure the steering wheel, go to File → Application Options → Game Controller Options and then adjust mapping and force feedback effect effects. Refer to images below.
